Environmentally benign Products

Environmental consequences of our products are already considered and evaluated during product design, which encompasses the complete "cradle-grave" cycle. This includes the careful use of resources by economical material consumption and recyclable products. We inform our customers of the environmentally benign and safe handling of our products.

Environmentally benign Production

During production we employ increasingly advanced technologies combined with processes for environmental protection. The reduction of resource use is our clearly defined goal.

Competence and Protection of our Employees

The consciousness of all employees for environmental protection is promoted and expanded regularly by information, qualification and motivation. We have placed ourselves under the commitment to constantly improve the health protection and the occupational safety for our employees.

Trusting Partnership

We act on our subcontractors to apply equivalent environmental guidelines and require our contractors to respect our standards when carrying out the contract within our plant area. The cooperation with hired companies for waste disposal, lasting from the generation of the waste to its final disposal, is our obligation.

Environmental Management and -Controlling

The effective application of environmental guidelines and the keeping of legislative and administrative regulations are ensured by our environmental management system, while taking into consideration emergency precaution. During regular system check up we are aiming at a continuous improvement of environmental protection, which we establish within the framework of environmental objectives - an activity that will continue.

Ecological Damage

Our objective is the minimization of ecological damage by new products via the application of integral environmental management processes already at the planning stage. At the same time we try to avoid ecological damage and to minimize the use of resources by reduction of waste and waste water as well as by the obligation to recycle. By this continuous improving process we wish to achieve an optimization of our environmental performance.

Dialogue with the Public

Whenever ecological questions turn up we are looking for environmentally benign solutions. By exchange of environmental knowledge between customer, supplier, authorities, associations, media and engaged citizen we shall promote the development of environmentally benign products, processes and the confidence in our measures for environmental protection.
